we are just starting in the manufacturing of manicure, pedicure instruments and beauty care scissors and items used in saloons. Our customers are asking us about the difference in special screws and standard screws that we are to use in our manufacturing and their costs. since we are just starting this business, we are not even aware of what they mean by different types of screws. Can some one guide us about this issue?

Wouldn’t the best thing to do be to buy some of these tools and examine them yourself? Obviously you don’t want to make exact copies (patents) but at least you’d know where to start. Alternately, contact a company who distributes those type of things and talk to them.
